    Rapid Spanning Tree

As you know you can configure lan switches for rapid spanning tree, but unless all of the switches in the domain are capable and are configured for RSTP, then you revert to the old IEEE 802.1d STP. Would it be possible to flag this? In an ideal case, the issue would list the switches that are preventing RSTP mode (that would be the big > payoff), but as a minimum, flag that the switch is configured as RSTP but running 802.1d.

I'd like to second this request as a useful informational issue. Bryan, I'm not sure what you mean by "in the domain". Cisco's implementation of RSTP/802.1w falls back to 802.1d on a link-by-link basis -- http://tinyurl.com/29x2cx.

I will file a Feature Request to see if this feature could be added.
