It would be really useful to be able to do a Subnet Summary over time, and have the ability to drill back to a certain date and view the Subnet Membership on that day, and to be able to chart the usage. This would highlight if a range was fully utilised on certain dates.

This is Amir Tabdili with NetCordia's Product management. I saw your note and I wanted to quickly touch base with you in regard to this topic.

Actually I think this is a great idea as well. As it happens I have asked us to consider this as we re-do our Subnet page for the next code release. In addition to Subnet utilization page (which is what you are refering to) and a historical view into it, I belive it will equally be useful to also give cusutomers (probably larger ones find this more useful) and idea of their "CIDR" utilization and again a historical view into it.  The CIDR utilizaiton basically would tell a user for example how many /24s within a /16 are utilized. Of course this is different than what we have today with Subnet utilization (where you see how many hosts are on a subnet.) I wanted to see if you think this idea would also be useful to you?

That sounds great,  also had another thought on this subject and that was to be able to track where an IP/MAC address had been seen over time, you can sort of do this now but it would be nice to be able to run a report and show where it had been seen over the last 7 days/ Month etc.

That would be an excelent security feature. Immagine being able to easily track wherever a laptop or sniffer has been plugged into the network.

An extra selling point to large Enterprises that are paranoid about that kind of thing.
